Klasje gehandicapte kinderen
Omschrijving:
Sinds maart 2018 ben ik samen met mijn man Rijndert en ons dochtertje Elynn opnieuw naar Ethiopië vertrokken. Rijndert heeft een leidinggevende functie in een meubelfabriek.
Zelf ben ik hierheen gekomen met de insteek dat er altijd genoeg werk is en dat ik zal gaan kijken wat er op mijn pad komt. En al snel kwam er wat op mijn pad!
3 jaar geleden was ik voor 1 jaar in Ethiopië als onderwijsvrijwilliger. Daarnaast heb ik ook voorlichting gegeven op een school voor mentaal gehandicapte kinderen. Daardoor wist ik dat er nog altijd weinig oog is voor deze kinderen. Om zelf een schooltje of een opvang op te zetten is heel veel tijd, geld en kennis nodig. Dat had ik allemaal niet. Via andere Nederlanders die hier wonen kwam ik in contact met de blindenschool hier in Debre Zeit. De directeur, Wondimu, is erg betrokken op mensen met een beperking. Hij neemt alleen blinde kinderen aan op zijn school, maar hij zou met liefde alle kinderen die zich aanmelden willen helpen. Zijn aanbod aan mij was prachtig, ik mag onder naam van de blindenschool, kinderen met een verstandelijke beperking les gaan geven. We mogen zelfs een lokaal in de blindenschool gebruiken. Hij had ook al 2 kinderen die graag in dit klasje willen komen.
In mei hebben we een docent aangenomen die nog meer kinderen heeft opgezocht. En in juni hebben we een maandje proef gedraaid met 7 kinderen.
Yohannes, Kaleb, Bilal, Tigist, Metasybia, Yosef en Yordanos
Ondertussen heb ik wat oproepjes gedaan via facebook of er mensen bereid waren dit project te sponsoren. Na iedere oproep kreeg ik reacties van mensen die dit graag willen steunen. We kunnen daardoor de kosten al een heel eind dekken. Nog niet helemaal en daarom hopen we op nog meer steun!
We hebben inmiddels een korte zomerstop gehad en we zijn weer begonnen. De kinderen genieten elke dag van elkaar, het speelgoed en alle andere nieuwe dingen die ze leren. 4 ochtenden in de week komen ze naar school en krijgen ze uitdagingen op hun eigen niveau. Zelf hoop ik er 2 ochtenden in de week bij te zijn. De ene ochtend vooral voor de lager niveau kinderen, om te werken aan hun motoriek en snoezelactiviteiten te doen. De andere ochtend vooral voor Tigist, een meisje van 14, om haar wat handvaardigheid activiteiten te leren.
Op deze pagina onder de naam Klasje hoop ik iedere maand u op de hoogte te houden.
Wij willen met dit werk graag de Heere Jezus volgen. Hij nam het Zijn hele leven op voor de zwakkere mensen, die door anderen genegeerd werden. Naast financiële steun hebben wij ook jullie gebed nodig, dat door dit werk Gods Koninkrijk wordt uitgebreid.

Klasje gehandicapte kinderen
Omschrijving:
Sinds maart 2018 ben ik samen met mijn man Rijndert en ons dochtertje Elynn opnieuw naar Ethiopië vertrokken. Rijndert heeft een leidinggevende functie in een meubelfabriek.
Zelf ben ik hierheen gekomen met de insteek dat er altijd genoeg werk is en dat ik zal gaan kijken wat er op mijn pad komt. En al snel kwam er wat op mijn pad!
3 jaar geleden was ik voor 1 jaar in Ethiopië als onderwijsvrijwilliger. Daarnaast heb ik ook voorlichting gegeven op een school voor mentaal gehandicapte kinderen. Daardoor wist ik dat er nog altijd weinig oog is voor deze kinderen. Om zelf een schooltje of een opvang op te zetten is heel veel tijd, geld en kennis nodig. Dat had ik allemaal niet. Via andere Nederlanders die hier wonen kwam ik in contact met de blindenschool hier in Debre Zeit. De directeur, Wondimu, is erg betrokken op mensen met een beperking. Hij neemt alleen blinde kinderen aan op zijn school, maar hij zou met liefde alle kinderen die zich aanmelden willen helpen. Zijn aanbod aan mij was prachtig, ik mag onder naam van de blindenschool, kinderen met een verstandelijke beperking les gaan geven. We mogen zelfs een lokaal in de blindenschool gebruiken. Hij had ook al 2 kinderen die graag in dit klasje willen komen.
In mei hebben we een docent aangenomen die nog meer kinderen heeft opgezocht. En in juni hebben we een maandje proef gedraaid met 7 kinderen.

Ondertussen heb ik wat oproepjes gedaan via facebook of er mensen bereid waren dit project te sponsoren. Na iedere oproep kreeg ik reacties van mensen die dit graag willen steunen. We kunnen daardoor de kosten al een heel eind dekken. Nog niet helemaal en daarom hopen we op nog meer steun!
We hebben inmiddels een korte zomerstop gehad en we zijn weer begonnen. De kinderen genieten elke dag van elkaar, het speelgoed en alle andere nieuwe dingen die ze leren. 4 ochtenden in de week komen ze naar school en krijgen ze uitdagingen op hun eigen niveau. Zelf hoop ik er 2 ochtenden in de week bij te zijn. De ene ochtend vooral voor de lager niveau kinderen, om te werken aan hun motoriek en snoezelactiviteiten te doen. De andere ochtend vooral voor Tigist, een meisje van 14, om haar wat handvaardigheid activiteiten te leren.

Wij willen met dit werk graag de Heere Jezus volgen. Hij nam het Zijn hele leven op voor de zwakkere mensen, die door anderen genegeerd werden. Naast financiële steun hebben wij ook jullie gebed nodig, dat door dit werk Gods Koninkrijk wordt uitgebreid.

Klasje gehandicapte kinderen
Omschrijving:
Sinds maart 2018 ben ik samen met mijn man Rijndert en ons dochtertje Elynn opnieuw naar Ethiopië vertrokken. Rijndert heeft een leidinggevende functie in een meubelfabriek.
Zelf ben ik hierheen gekomen met de insteek dat er altijd genoeg werk is en dat ik zal gaan kijken wat er op mijn pad komt. En al snel kwam er wat op mijn pad!
3 jaar geleden was ik voor 1 jaar in Ethiopië als onderwijsvrijwilliger. Daarnaast heb ik ook voorlichting gegeven op een school voor mentaal gehandicapte kinderen. Daardoor wist ik dat er nog altijd weinig oog is voor deze kinderen. Om zelf een schooltje of een opvang op te zetten is heel veel tijd, geld en kennis nodig. Dat had ik allemaal niet. Via andere Nederlanders die hier wonen kwam ik in contact met de blindenschool hier in Debre Zeit. De directeur, Wondimu, is erg betrokken op mensen met een beperking. Hij neemt alleen blinde kinderen aan op zijn school, maar hij zou met liefde alle kinderen die zich aanmelden willen helpen. Zijn aanbod aan mij was prachtig, ik mag onder naam van de blindenschool, kinderen met een verstandelijke beperking les gaan geven. We mogen zelfs een lokaal in de blindenschool gebruiken. Hij had ook al 2 kinderen die graag in dit klasje willen komen.
In mei hebben we een docent aangenomen die nog meer kinderen heeft opgezocht. En in juni hebben we een maandje proef gedraaid met 7 kinderen.

Ondertussen heb ik wat oproepjes gedaan via facebook of er mensen bereid waren dit project te sponsoren. Na iedere oproep kreeg ik reacties van mensen die dit graag willen steunen. We kunnen daardoor de kosten al een heel eind dekken. Nog niet helemaal en daarom hopen we op nog meer steun!
We hebben inmiddels een korte zomerstop gehad en we zijn weer begonnen. De kinderen genieten elke dag van elkaar, het speelgoed en alle andere nieuwe dingen die ze leren. 4 ochtenden in de week komen ze naar school en krijgen ze uitdagingen op hun eigen niveau. Zelf hoop ik er 2 ochtenden in de week bij te zijn. De ene ochtend vooral voor de lager niveau kinderen, om te werken aan hun motoriek en snoezelactiviteiten te doen. De andere ochtend vooral voor Tigist, een meisje van 14, om haar wat handvaardigheid activiteiten te leren.

Wij willen met dit werk graag de Heere Jezus volgen. Hij nam het Zijn hele leven op voor de zwakkere mensen, die door anderen genegeerd werden. Naast financiële steun hebben wij ook jullie gebed nodig, dat door dit werk Gods Koninkrijk wordt uitgebreid.

Klasje gehandicapte kinderen
Omschrijving:
Sinds maart 2018 ben ik samen met mijn man Rijndert en ons dochtertje Elynn opnieuw naar Ethiopië vertrokken. Rijndert heeft een leidinggevende functie in een meubelfabriek.
Zelf ben ik hierheen gekomen met de insteek dat er altijd genoeg werk is en dat ik zal gaan kijken wat er op mijn pad komt. En al snel kwam er wat op mijn pad!
3 jaar geleden was ik voor 1 jaar in Ethiopië als onderwijsvrijwilliger. Daarnaast heb ik ook voorlichting gegeven op een school voor mentaal gehandicapte kinderen. Daardoor wist ik dat er nog altijd weinig oog is voor deze kinderen. Om zelf een schooltje of een opvang op te zetten is heel veel tijd, geld en kennis nodig. Dat had ik allemaal niet. Via andere Nederlanders die hier wonen kwam ik in contact met de blindenschool hier in Debre Zeit. De directeur, Wondimu, is erg betrokken op mensen met een beperking. Hij neemt alleen blinde kinderen aan op zijn school, maar hij zou met liefde alle kinderen die zich aanmelden willen helpen. Zijn aanbod aan mij was prachtig, ik mag onder naam van de blindenschool, kinderen met een verstandelijke beperking les gaan geven. We mogen zelfs een lokaal in de blindenschool gebruiken. Hij had ook al 2 kinderen die graag in dit klasje willen komen.
In mei hebben we een docent aangenomen die nog meer kinderen heeft opgezocht. En in juni hebben we een maandje proef gedraaid met 7 kinderen.

Ondertussen heb ik wat oproepjes gedaan via facebook of er mensen bereid waren dit project te sponsoren. Na iedere oproep kreeg ik reacties van mensen die dit graag willen steunen. We kunnen daardoor de kosten al een heel eind dekken. Nog niet helemaal en daarom hopen we op nog meer steun!
We hebben inmiddels een korte zomerstop gehad en we zijn weer begonnen. De kinderen genieten elke dag van elkaar, het speelgoed en alle andere nieuwe dingen die ze leren. 4 ochtenden in de week komen ze naar school en krijgen ze uitdagingen op hun eigen niveau. Zelf hoop ik er 2 ochtenden in de week bij te zijn. De ene ochtend vooral voor de lager niveau kinderen, om te werken aan hun motoriek en snoezelactiviteiten te doen. De andere ochtend vooral voor Tigist, een meisje van 14, om haar wat handvaardigheid activiteiten te leren.
Op deze pagina onder de naam Klasje hoop ik iedere maand u op de hoogte te houden.
Wij willen met dit werk graag de Heere Jezus volgen. Hij nam het Zijn hele leven op voor de zwakkere mensen, die door anderen genegeerd werden. Naast financiële steun hebben wij ook jullie gebed nodig, dat door dit werk Gods Koninkrijk wordt uitgebreid.
